STEM Educator Program
The program provides educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to initiate program using Arduino, making basic connections and wiring on a typical breadboard, writing program using the Arduino IDE and some other basic programming concepts. There is a basic introduction to widely-used sensors and the course ends with the creation of simple stand-alone projects that can also be used in larger projects or as teaching examples in the classroom

Our program is developed in the framework of experiential learning, are crafted to include both formal and non-formal education methodologies. Starting with a theoretical approach to the theme of the program, we proceed with non-formal learning strategies in order to guarantee and stimulate an active contribution from the participants involved.
In practice, we use Presentations; Analysis of study cases; Discussions in the classroom; Role-plays; exchange of good practices among learners; Job experiences; Workshops to rethink old practices and introduce new ones.

Explore and discover the benefits that the STEM Education can foster;
Help participants acknowledge all the different ways in which the STEM Education can be implemented in everyday learning;

In a joint effort to address the challenges of increasing gaps between academy and industry, TWEEN Academy in collaboration with few industry experts have introduced a Training of Teachers program under the TWEEN STEM Initiative. The training aims to equip teachers with a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) approach to teaching science and math syllabus to drive students’ interest, participation, understanding and appreciation of STEM subjects.
